Meet the : the ideal place to leave the digital grind behind and take the time to look at Antwerp from a new funky angle.

For those who like Instagram but feel an urge every now and then to escape the usual “tag and run” routine; Antwerp has a kick-ass Lomography store to fuel you with great analogue cameras, inspiration and tips & tricks. Take things slow and really explore the city on a calmer pace, pondering what photo to take next (watch out, only 12 to 16 shots on 1 film!) and go home with a truly original souvenir.

Also for rookies

No worries, you don’t need to be a photography hero from the start: for a small fee (usually around € 15) you can indulge yourself in a 2 hour workshop at the store. You get a one hour introduction into lomography and whatever camera you like to use (they can loan you one). Afterwards you hit the street to put theory into practice together with the enthusiastic people from the store and your fellow lomostudents. At the end the product of your exploration will be developed for you in the lab* (all included in the price).

It’s a lifestyle

Keep the in mind and start exploring! Before you know it you’re hooked and you’ll have the best memories of Antwerp: it’ll always be the city that taught you a new way of living.

* It usually takes up to 2 weeks to get the developed films back but you can always check with the store if they might want to mail it to you afterwards if you pay the shipping costs: it’s a CD with the digital version of your photos and 12 to 16 printouts.
