Everyone in Antwerp has heard of The Public Image. It's one of those stores with a lot of personality and one where you can actually find things that are different (in a good way). Nele Moens (25) opened this independent concept store in July 2011.
The clothes and shoes instantly make me think of (an online store) and I would describe the style to be young, fresh and bold. Think Jeffrey Campbell, Motel Rocks, Bitching And Junkfood, ... You can even find clothes by Antwerp designer Pieter Van den Zegel who unfortunately only sells menswear at the store right now but they're working on it!
Just last month Nele organized an event to celebrate 2 new brands at her store: and It looked like a lot of fun, with make up sessions and showings of the new arrivals. Plus who doesn't like a girls only party once in a while. So next time she throws one of her events (hint: , be quick because last time the guest list filled up quickly!
