No bike rides or lengthy walks on the third day of D.A.T.E. 2.0. We took The Antwerp 13 to meet local creative entrepreneurs, we took them on a  pic nic on the roof of a museum, showed them on of our favorite art galleries and took them to the Fashion Museum to be the first visitors of the new exhibition.

Antwerp loves its creatives

First stop after breakfast was the coworking space , to meet the crew behind (APBC). APBC wants to connect young, new entrepreneurs and help them grow. It’s a platform where designers, companies, schools and the government can get together. To learn, to share knowledge, launch new projects or inspire each other.

The D.A.T.E. members learned about the ins and outs of APBC - and got inspired - we took them to the HQ of . Starting next month, Born in Antwerp will launch a ton of initiatives to promote Antwerp artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and other Antwerp creatives’ work. Since one of the goals of D.A.T.E. is to discover how cities interact with their creatives, and vice versa, Born in Antwerp sure caught the Antwerp 13’s attention.

PARIS TEXAS & Game Changers

After lunch, at the top floor of the MAS, the Antwerp 13 visited the art gallery . And it was hard no to be stoked about the gallery and event space. PARIS TEXAS is actually a 6.000-square-foot warehouse that got transformed into a home, studios and exhibition space. Including a tropical garden, neon rooms and self-designed furniture. What’s more: everything is designed by the couple that runs PARIS TEXAS: Tim Stokes (from Texas) and architect Nathalie Wolberg (from Paris).

Being mesmerized by the art, design and architecture of PARIS TEXAS, the Antwerp 13 took off to the MoMu, Antwerp’s Fashion Museum, to get an exclusive preview of the much anticipated exhibition . Months and months of work have been put into it, and just the day before the grand opening, our D.A.T.E.’s were allowed to visit this exhibition. Being a stylish, fashion minded ensemble, their enthusiasm didn’t come as a surprise. Thank you, MoMu, for this opportunity!

Empty the fridge

We enjoyed our last dinner together at the Zuiderpershuis. We invited the people of , a cooking team that makes the greatest meals out of leftovers. They prepared a menu for the Antwerp 13 which included recipes and ingredients from each country our D.A.T.E.’s come from.

Yesterday was a delight. Just like last Tuesday, Monday and Sunday. Today it’s the last full day the Antwerp 13 are in Antwerp. With , tonight, as the apotheoses. So we’re not getting sentimental - yet.

See you tonight, at D.A.T.E.Lab!
