The Flanders Culture Market gives the new cultural season a festive launch. It's a free culture festival in Antwerp, with an information market and live performances at various locations.
Throughout central Antwerp, from the Station to the Scheldt, you will find information to fill your cultural schedule over the next months. At the cultural information market, 170 organisations from the Flemish art and culture sector present their new programme. Music organisations can be found at the Grote Markt, the museums present themselves on the Meir, theatre companies are playing at Groenplaats, and you can check out the training and courses offerings at Steenplein. The cultural centres can be found on Suikerrui. There are free performances at 25 indoor and outdoor venues. For instance, you can sample some solid theatrical work at the Fakkelteater, HETPALEIS and Theater aan de Stroom.
